About me

Hello everyone, my name is Briana Gibbs. I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula located in Maryland. My journey to becoming a doula started with my own birth in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic! In addition to the new strict covid regulations— I was also told the devastating news that I was at high risk for preterm labor. I started researching and reaching out to other birth professionals for advice while doing everything I possibly could to prevent preterm birth. By God’s Grace, I birthed my baby girl at full term! Through my experience, I realized the importance of doulas. My pregnancy and birth awoke a deep desire to be a doula myself. So, I followed my heart! I have so much love in my heart and compassion for my job. My desire is to support mothers like myself and to inspire confidence and strength. I am a wife and mother to a sweet 2yr old baby girl. Family is super important to me and that carries through to my clients… I am known for considering my clients "family" as well! Along with spending time with my family—I also enjoy singing, going to church, and relaxing.
