I’m planning to deliver at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence with the midwives at the birthing center, and I’m based in Mansfield, MA. I’m looking for a doula who is experienced with Women & Infants and supportive of a midwife-led birth experience. This is my first baby and pregnancy, so looking for all the advice and support! I have United Healthcare through Harvard Pilgrim, so I’d also love to know whether you accept this insurance, offer reimbursement support, or can provide a superbill. This is my second baby after several years going through IVF. WIth my first, I really struggled during the postpartum period and found that my friends and family were not prepared to offer help, so I appreciate any support (both with caring for the baby, myself after a C-section, and my mental health) that can be offered. I am especially interested if my Blue Cross insurance could be applied.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. South shore hospital in Weymouth. I had a c-section in 2025 due to failure to progress was told by my provider I was able to try for a vback. My husband and I are delighted to be expecting our first child and are looking for doula support for a hospital or birth center birth in Boston. Our total budget is $1,000-$1,500, and we’re hoping to find support that includes: - Editing and refining my birth plan into a clear, one-page summary. - An in-person session to practice coping techniques for labor. - In-person support at home during early labor. - Ongoing support at the hospital or birth center, helping me communicate my birth plan, advocate for my preferences, ask questions, and make informed decisions. - Staying after the birth to help with initial breastfeeding and latch. My goal is a safe, unmedicated vaginal, downward labor type birth with minimal intervention when medically appropriate. My priorities include consent before examinations and procedures, freedom to move and choose birth positions, a calm and low-light environment, and immediate skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding support. I remain open to medically necessary interventions after an informed discussion whenever circumstances allow. Please let me know whether you can offer these services within our budget.

I would like an experienced provider who’s used to caring for families with more than one child. I would need more help with my toddler and support for myself post partum. I would need support for 4 hours a day for 8-12 weeks. My budget is around 1,200 per month

Hospital birth As natural as possible but high risk-bicuspid aortic valve-being seen by MFM Plan to use insurance Birth plan: epidural or possibly not, laboring down as much as long as possible allowing fetal ejection reflex to hopefully take place so minimal pushing. I declined the use of a forceps/suction assisted birth. C section is also still on the table. Want to move about freely or if there’s an epidural in place assistance moving, do not want to birth on my back. Minimal vaccines, delaying schedule and not doing all of them. Must be the preservative free vitamin k shot and if not available then drops only. Delayed cord clamping until white or not pulsating. Baby stays in room with us at all times for all tests etc.. plan to breast feed.

Plan to give birth at Winchester Hospital. Having my first baby and hoping to have a low-intervention vaginal birth. I'm still considering/learning about specific plan details. I'm more nervous about feeling rushed or pressured by hospital staff than I am nervous about birth itself, and I'm looking for someone to advocate for and support the experience I want to have within a hospital setting.
