Hospital birth As natural as possible but [personal details hidden]-[personal details hidden]-being seen by MFM Plan to use insurance Birth plan: epidural or possibly not, laboring down as much as long as possible allowing fetal ejection reflex to hopefully take place so minimal pushing. I declined the use of a forceps/suction assisted birth. C section is also still on the table. Want to move about freely or if there’s an epidural in place assistance moving, do not want to birth on my back. Minimal vaccines, delaying schedule and not doing all of them. Must be the preservative free vitamin k shot and if not available then drops only. Delayed cord clamping until white or not pulsating. Would like a midwife to help with me with my first pregnancy

We’re expecting our first baby, due late December / early January- 12/31, and we’re looking for an experienced, certified Newborn Care Specialist for overnight support starting when we come home from the hospital. We live in [personal details hidden] in Boston. Schedule: 2-3 nights a week, about 10pm–7am for roughly 6 weeks. Because of the due date, the start date needs some flexibility, and we’ll need coverage through the holidays. Feeding: We plan to breastfeed. We’d like the baby brought to mom for night feeds, with a pumped bottle for one feed so she can get a longer stretch of sleep. Lactation experience is a plus. Sleep goals: We’d like help building healthy sleep habits and gradually lengthening night stretches, always following AAP safe-sleep guidelines. As first-time parents, we’d really value someone who teaches us along the way, including a quick morning handoff on how the night went.
