I would love someone who has several years of experience supporting first-time mothers and who is comfortable helping me understand my options throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. I’m looking for someone who can provide both emotional and practical support, help me prepare for labor, explain what to expect, help me advocate for my preferences, and provide calming guidance during labor and during postpartum. It’s also important to me that my partner is included and supported throughout the process, so I’d love a doula who can help him feel confident and involved as well.
