I plan to give birth at the University of Iowa downtown campus. My plan is to be unmedicated with the exception of nitrous oxide. I am looking for a doula that is in my insurance network.

This is my 4th pregnancy and I’m looking for a midwife that could support me during a VBAC. My first two babies were born vaginally, with my 3rd baby born prematurely at 29w6d via emergency C-section. Advocacy is also important to us. We want support with communicating and upholding our birth preferences with hospital staff, as well as maintaining clear boundaries around who is present during labor, including support with limiting family presence in the birthing room.
