I am hoping for a VBAC after a semi-traumatic cesarean experience. I believe my best chances to achieve this would be through help of a doula and a midwife, as the current OB I see pushed for an early induction last time and I can feel that's the direction she's pushing for this second pregnancy. The OB only pushed for induction and brought up cesarean based on baby's projected size. First son was 8lbs 12.5oz at birth; so not small, but certainly not over 10lbs as they had insisted. My current plan is to give birth at Henrico Doctor's Hospital (where I delivered my first), but am open to other options such as a home birth or a birthing center. I would love to try for unmedicated this go around. I am not a high-risk pregnancy, I have a healthy BMI, baby is healthy, no gestational diabetes, no markers for preeclampsia or hypertension, so I believe and feel strongly that I can attempt a VBAC + TOLAC.

I would like to have a home birth but I have some health issues that will likely require the hospital. This is my first birth I had a ruptured ectopic earlier this year so anxiety is high. I need more education on the birthing process and pregnancy in general. Budget is about $800-$2400. I want as natural of a birth as possible.

As of today, I am planning to give birth at GMBC, I am an OB who practices at their campus in Towson, MD. I am relying heavily on my two insurance plans and am willing to pay the copays/what they do not cover. I also have not drawn up or outlined a birth plan. I do know I do not what to be induced unless absolutely necessary (AKA Pitocin pressured) and I am open to an epidural. I am really looking for someone I can rely on to educate both parties involved being my significant other and I and my mother who are at this moment who I want present for the birth. And more importantly enforce boundaries from a more medically trained/educated standpoint on my behalf and with my health/survival in mind. I also would love someone who is especially experienced with the mental health aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

I will be giving birth and Sentara hospital in Woodbridge. I would like to attempt an unmendicated VBAC (previous C-section because of placenta Previa). I am not sure how much doula services cost so I don’t know what my budget is. Ideally, I would like to have as little intervention as possible during labor and birth. I know things can change quickly so ultimately I want a healthy baby and a safe delivery.

I had a c section with my first due to “ failure to progress “ and I would like to avoid that the second go around with a vbac. Hospital birth with pain management but I panic easily and have anxiety

I would like to do either a home or water birth. I need someone that accepts medicaid and if there are any additional outside fees to inform. I want a delayed clamping, no shots or vaccines administered. I would like post partum assistance. I would like someone who is holistic or aware, open, and understanding of these desires. I want to keep and dehydrate the placenta for later. I want my pregnancy and birthing as natural as possible. I am pescatarian so I only consume fish, not "land" meat. Giving birth in Fredericksburg, Virginia (Mary Washington Hospital.) EDD is 4/28/26 but I am AMA and have been told they won't let me go past 39 weeks, which would be delivery around 4/21. It is the first birth for both me and my husband. I have gestational diabetes but it is fully diet controlled and I've been given no indication that I'll need to be induced earlier or have a c-section. I am hopeful to go spontaneously before needing to be induced, because I really want to avoid an epidural (I don't mind other pain meds, but I do not want to be numb), and I've heard that being induced makes it much more likely you'll need an epidural. We've done all of our birth classes already (labor and delivery, breastfeeding, home with baby) so mostly looking for delivery support at this point. Never thought about using a doula until this last week or so, which is why I'm a little late to the game!

I plan to give birth to my 4th baby at home. I have had a lot of stressful events happen during this pregnancy that have discouraged me in many ways. I haven't had any reliable transportation really to get back and forth to doctors visits so my doctor dropped me as a patient. I just feel it would be less of a headache to do it from the comfort of my own home. My budget is $500-$800 with a payment plan of some sort. I'm already 35 weeks so it wouldn't be very many visits.
