I plan to give birth at a hospital. I would like to find a Doula who is in network with TRICARE. I would like to labor as long as possible at home before going to the hospital and then wait or avoid medication. I am open to an epidural and pain meds however, if my body is telling me, I need them.

Kneeling birthing position (not on back unless absolutely necessary). Unable to have an epidural. Hospital has minimal pain management options (maybe some local because I asked about it. No to nitrous, they don't do that here, mixed opiate if absolutely necessary. If C-section is required, general anesthesia is necessary.) Mother, former nanny, will be at the hospital for the birth.

I plan to give birth at St. Joesphs hospital in Towson, MD. I would like to find a doula who is in-network with Cigna insurance. I don't have a birth plan just yet.

We have three kids with a fourth arriving in July. We are experienced parents, but TIRED and looking for help during birth and in the first 2-3 months after birth at night. I plan to give birth in the midwifery unit of the MedStar Washington Hospital in Washington DC. I am looking to have as few interventions as possible and plan to birth unmedicated. I would strongly prefer a doula of Christian faith, though shared faith is not a requirement. I’m only interested in doulas with experience in a hospital setting and would prefer a doula with at least 3 years of experience. Ideally, my doula would also be able to take photographs periodically throughout labour and delivery, though I know this may not be likely. I am not interested in postpartum care.
