Hello, I'm planning on delivering at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This will be my 3rd birth and aiming for a VBAC (first was vaginal after several days of induction and long labor in 2022 and second was C-section after several days of induction and short period of pushing in 2024). My current doctor (used for my first birth) fully supports/encourages my choice for a VBAC. I'm looking for someone to help me navigate this birth, hopefully avoiding a C-section and understanding my options with inductions related to VBACs. Budgeting $2700 max

I plan to give birth at Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring. I have coverage with my insurance. I plan on doing a natural delivery, and want to labor at home the most that i can before going to the hospital. I’d want a doula’s support while laboring at home and interested in learning about hypo birthing techniques for delivery at the hospital.

I am looking for a doula to help support my specific needs and worries when it comes to labor and delivery.

I plan on having a hospital birth but with as little medications as possible. As close to natural as my body can handle, but in a setting where i have the option and opportunity to change my mind up until the last minute. I want someone able to provide that extra step of care, the nurturing and caring side of pregnancy that is a little less common in a medical setting. My budget is currently still being decided upon but I do have a bit of flexibility in that area.
