Location: Watertown, NY 13601, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: October 09, 2026
I’m pregnant with my first and am very adamant to have a waterbirth at home or hospital/birthcenter wherever possible. My spouse and I are in the military and I am active duty under Tricare Prime. Here’s my birth plan: 1. Limited people in the room, no students or unnecessary staff, I'm not an experiment to observe 2. Do not offer me an epidural for pain, or pitocin to speed things up, as it might interfere with my own resolve 3. No cervical checks as they don't provide any benefit or real indication of how much longer labour will take, and will only increase a sense of rush/anxiety if things are not going "fast enough" 4. Obtain mine/my husband's consent for any intervention or medication 5. I will be accompanied by a trusted person at all times (spouse, mom/in-law, doula) 6. No continuous fetal monitoring as it has not been proven to improve outcomes for mom or baby and increases interventions and c-sections. Intermittent monitoring will do. 7. Baby goes immediately skin to skin on my chest (without a hat) to regulate his/her temperature and blood sugar, encourage breastfeeding, and help my hormones work to heal and stem bleeding 8. You will not clamp the cord until it is white and limp so my baby can benefit from oxygen to vital organs, vitamins, minerals, nutrients, red and white blood cells, immune cells, stem cells, and increasing iron stores. 9. I will take 1+ "golden hour" after birth before any exams, weighing, etc are done. Please leave the room to family only and turn off the lights. 10. No pulling on the placenta or fundal massage. My golden time will help my placenta detach on its own and I will let you know if I want you to gently ease it out or if I will stand and do it myself. 11. We are declining the vitamin K shot 12. We are declining the antibiotic eye ointment since I tested negative for Chlamydia/gonorrhea

Michaela is looking for Birth Doula
Location: Highspire, PA 17034, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 18, 2026
I want an African American women to be my doula, I would like a natural birth no medication, delayed cord clamping, breathing exercises, I don’t want to give birth on my back, immediate skin to skin, education on what is okay for the baby not to have for example vaccinations,. I plan on giving birth a Penn State Hershey Hospital. My mother and partner will be in there with me. We are Muslim so after baby is born father needs to do a religious prayer in babies right ear, so therefore when baby is born we need that time for him to do so like three minutes. I want baby in the room all the time even during assessments unless medical emergency and if that occurs my mother or partner can go with them. Things to prepare for birth. And I plan on breast feeding.
