Looking for a certified nurse midwife/prenatal care
I plan on having an at home birth and looking for a medical covered doula. Must accept Va Insurance or Medicaid.
Not sure. I’m thinking home I have a very small budget. Hoping Medicaid will help Unassisted
I am currently pregnant with my first child and am exploring a planned home birth if I remain low-risk throughout pregnancy. My estimated due date is October 10, 2026. I am looking for a licensed and experienced midwife who provides prenatal, labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care in the home setting. My goal is to have a natural, low-intervention birth and avoid epidurals, inductions, and unnecessary interventions unless medically necessary. If labor is progressing well, I am very interested in a water birth. Since this is my first child, I am open to continuous monitoring and appreciate providers who prioritize both comfort and safety. I would like a provider with a clear emergency transfer protocol, experience supporting first-time mothers, and strong postpartum support. I am also interested in personalized education and guidance throughout pregnancy. If timing allows, I would love for close family members to be present for emotional support while still respecting the midwife’s space and ability to work effectively. My budget is approximately $5,000–$8,000, and I am open to discussing payment plans.
I’m not pregnant yet, but we plan to conceive in March 2026. I’d love for my experience to be different this time and not go into with my fears. We don’t have a budget per se, just browsing prices because our healthcare doesn’t comprise that care.
1. Hospital or birth center 2. Insurance 3. Natural vbac
I am looking for a home birth midwife that accepts Cigna insurance.
I plan to give birth at home. I haven’t considered a budget or birthing plan considering this is my first full term pregnancy.
I want to give birth at home or in a birthing center no hospital. My budget is very tight at the moment so I would probably have to do a payment plan. I want to do everything as natural as possible.
Home $1000-1200 I’d like a water birth at home In a calm setting. I already have a doula I’d need essential oils burning calm music dim lighting and my support system.
Need someone to go on with me to hospital to make sure mine and my baby well being is taking into consideration. Not forced to have a c section, both me and my child leave hospital alive
My pregnancy with my first child seven years ago was rushed and forced into a C-section. I’ve always known and felt something was wrong about the way that I had my first child but I am 16 weeks pregnant now more educated and I am looking to have a vbac , I was going the regular route by going to a ob but she has rubbed me the wrong way a few times and I want someone that is going to help me have my baby the natural way I can the first time around. I was robbed out of seeing my husband, cut the umbilical cord skin to skin and even breast-feeding. I know that I can do it and I do not want a doctor to force me to have a C-section if I do not need it just because I had one before that I did not need. I want to either be in contact with someone who can deliver my child for me or send me to providers that can support my decision. I did plan on giving birth at Northside Hospital. I do have Medicaid. I just want a natural birth that I am owed.

I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. As a first-time mom, I’m still learning about the overall costs, so I don’t have a defined budget at this time. I also have not created a formal birth plan yet, but I’m open to exploring my options and making informed decisions as I continue through my pregnancy.
I plan to give birth in a hospital, I don't entirely have a birth plan yet, and this would be my first time so I would need to consult on a budget. I do prefer that they speak spanish and english. Sorry, we are very new to this.

I will be birthing at home in water and a lotus birth with my baby. I’m a first time mom and I have no idea what to look for in a midwife. I’ve been doing things all alone and would love to have some support. Estimated budget $3,000.

I am looking for a doula who understands the deeper emotional and spiritual side of birth. For me, bringing my baby into this world is not just a physical experience but a sacred and powerful transition. 1. Birth Location: I would love to experience a water birth, as I feel deeply connected to the calming and natural energy of water during labor. If medical support becomes necessary for the safety of my baby or myself, I am open to giving birth in a hospital environment. 2. Estimated Budget: My current budget for doula support is $200–$600, and I am open to discussing flexible arrangements if needed. 3. Birth Plan: My intention is to create a peaceful, spiritually grounded birth experience. I want to feel calm, protected, and supported as I welcome my baby into the world. I would love a doula who can help hold a nurturing and positive space, encourage breathing and grounding techniques, and support me emotionally and spiritually throughout labor. I believe birth is a powerful moment of connection between mother and child, and I want my environment to reflect love, strength, and calm energy. I am seeking someone who respects the sacred nature of birth, supports natural birthing practices, and can help me stay centered, confident, and empowered throughout the process.
