Soon after our delivery date we will likely want 3 week nights / week of overnight help. We just started looking at this, so we aren’t sure what certifications, rates, etc. we want, but we are expecting to book ~30 nights of time, at hopefully a deal since we would be booking so many hours. I think we mostly just want baby care, but maybe some sleep training, and might want to add occasional cooking / cleaning dishes later (curious how the rates differ with the additional services)

I am hoping to have a unmedicated birth likely at the Mother Baby Center or Twin Cities Birth Center. We were hoping for a home birth but discovered it’s a bit of an insurance challenge. I plan to use TRICARE Reserve Select insurance so hope to find a doula that works with that. Still defining my birth plan, but would love for it to be unmedicated, minimal intervention…allowing my body to do its natural thing and be empowered by kind supportive humans. :)

I am 41 years old so a high risk pregnancy and was just diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. It is important for me to have an advocate in the room who can inform me about my decisions and prefer a person of color. We are going to be at Methodist hospital

First pregnancy and birth at 41 years old. Need someone who can support and older mother. I plan to give birth in a hospital and want to do an epidural but have some fear due to prior health issues. I plan to give birth in a hospital, but hope to have minimal interventions unless absolutely medically necessary. This is my first pregnancy via IVF after dealing with infertility, and I would like someone who is sensitive to that.
