Must have at least one of the following: - Medicaid approval to provide doula services in their state - An active doula certification from an eligible certifying organization - A certificate of completion from an eligible doula training program and three years of experience They must also have all three of the following: - An active certificate in adult and infant CPR from an eligible certifying organization - At least $1 million in liability insurance from a reputable insurer - Client and professional references

Having my first birth this november at New York Presbyterian lower manhattan. Looking for a Doula who has a calm and supportive energy with 3+ years practicing. I would like support during birth and after as a priority and a little bit of prep before. I'd also like the Doula to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.

Just got home last night after c-section and need support asap

72 hours postpartum with our newborn (second child). Her breasts feel very full but she isn't getting relief from feeding, and when she pumps afterward, she's getting less than 1oz. My one week old is feeding on breast for up to an hour (sometimes more) and when she falls asleep and I put her down, she cries for more. I’ve pumped and bottle fed as well, she takes the bottle for around 30-45 minutes and does the same process. The only time she feeds well and sleeps for a 2+ hours is when we have to supplement with formula. I’ve had virtual consultations but I really think I’d benefit most to an in-person visit.

Hello! We are excited for our baby girl in October and looking for a night nurse for 6-8 weeks.

First baby, will birth at Hackensack University Medical Center. I live in Jersey City NJ. Would love an unmedicated birth but I’m flexible with wherever this birth takes me. I’m not sure what my budget should be because I don’t know what Doulas go for. Once baby is born I’m hoping to breastfeed and want to give it my best shot. If baby allows and while I recover I would like to have a night doula for 3-4 nights a week for 7-8 hours a night.

I want to make sure my pump fits right and I know how to use it. I want an in person visit. My baby isnt here yet. So for now this is on top of mind

Have a one week old. It feels like breastfeeding is going really well, but want to be sure her latch is good, understand different breastfeeding positions, and better understand starting to build a freezer stash for bottle feeding in the future. I have been able to collect a decent amount with light use of my boon trove, but want to be sure I’m using it correctly. Would love an in- person appointment.
