I'm here to support you in having the birth that you feel is best for you and your health, whether that birth is a scheduled induction, a repeat cesarean section, a natural delivery, or a VBAC. Hi friends! My name is Lindsay and I am a trained birth doula with a passion for helping people. My name is Alex Carpenter and I am a Doula located in Winston-Salem NC. I have a BS and M.Ed in special education and child development and over 5 years in the education field. After attempting to start my own family and going through several rounds of fertility treatment I decided to leave the education field and become a Doula. My goal is to be a support to all who are navigating fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I aim to be a support for those experiencing pregnancy and parenthood, being advocate for your wants and needs throughout the whole process.

I am comfortable operating in both clinical and non-clinical environments and bring strong organizational, technical, and communication skills to every role. I am currently pursuing my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN, RN) while continuing to advance my work in maternal–infant health. I meet with you in home prenatally and will meet you at your home or at your birth place at any time during your labor.
