Hello everyone, I'm Candice Hoover. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula (CPD) and overnight infant care specialist based in Huntsville, AL. ​ My mission is to provide overnight care to support you both physically and emotionally during the postpartum period. Additionally, I aim to offer valuable education on the various phases of postpartum and guide you in caring for your precious infant(s). Infants are the most wonderful blessing, and I am here to help you and your family smoothly transition into this new phase. Whether this is your first precious blessing or your fifth, my presence aims to make your life easier, healthier and overall happier. Being a mother of five, including a set of twins, has provided me with a wealth of experience in nurturing newborns and children over the past 20+ years. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to work with you and your newborn.

Service introduction

I offer overnight postpartum support and infant care. Providing emotional and physical support for the mother. Offering guidance on recognizing hunger cues, lactation, and optimal breastfeeding positions. Conducting light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and sterilizing bottles and breast pumps, wiping counters, sweeping floors, and handling laundry for both the mother and newborn(s). Assisting with feedings, diaper changes, swaddling, burping, and ensuring the baby returns to sleep. If you do not need postpartum care, you may hire me as your night nanny where I provide the upmost professional and expert care for your newborn while you and your partner get a full nights rest!
