Overnight Newborn Care singleton

Educate and support for parents. Create a smooth transition for family during the newborn stage. Troubleshoot potential issues of concern with the newborn and offer professional options to resolve them. Maintain a thorough log of infant feeding and sleep patterns. Assist mother with the facilitation of breastfeeding and be knowledgeable in answering breastfeeding related questions or help find a IBCLC. Provide care for the newborn and perform some or all of the following tasks: Bathing. Provide Circumcision Care. Bottle Preparation (Breast milk & Formula). Pacify babies using proven techniques to calm newborns. Create a daytime feeding schedule. Assist in establishing healthy sleep habits. Maintain a thorough log of eating, sleeping and behavioral patterns. Take over complete care of newborn at night to provide parents time to sleep. Maintain proper cleanliness, sterilization and preparation bottles. Initiate and implement a routine for sleeping, meals, nap and play-time. Assist with infant laundry including washing, drying, folding and putting away when working days. Complete baby log for parents each night Provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for overall development. Restock baby care items. Empty diaper containers when needed

Educate and support for parents in caring for their Twins. Example: tandem feeding. Create a smooth transition for family during the newborn stage. Troubleshoot potential issues of concern with the newborn and offer professional options to resolve them. Maintain a thorough log of infant feeding and sleep patterns. Assist mother with the facilitation of breastfeeding and be knowledgeable in answering breastfeeding related questions or help find a IBCLC.
