Giving birth in a hospital and would like to avoid c section
I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). My budget is $5k max if possible but not sure how much these services are (would like to use insurance if I can). My insurance is Aetna Choice II POS.
Dear Danielle, Happy Passover! I am writing to you as a well known doula that works with Jewish families. I am the Rabbi of Congregation B'nai Emet in Simi Valley (Reform) and the Executive Director of the Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din. Recently, I finished mentorship as a Mohel under a Professor of Urology at Cedars and a Conservative Rabbi - Mohel. I would like to invite you for coffee (after Passover) or a phone call to ask your advice on how I can best serve the needs of families in greater Los Angeles. Would you be open to speaking? Warmly, Rabbi Jason Rosner
Home birth 38 years old only has medical.
This is my first pregnancy and I would love to give birth at your center, or in my own home. Would love a certified provider with years of experience that I can meet as soon as possible. I'm 28 years old and my baby is about 13 weeks old.
Hospital birth. Hoping to go unmedicated. Need someone experienced with pain management and who can help my husband navigate the process. My family won't be supportive of going without an epidural and I don't know how supportive my husband could be if he sees me in a lot of pain. Delayed cord clamping wanted for longer than 60 seconds, until cord turns white. Skin to skin and breastfeeding are important. No Hep B. Surprise gender. Just looking. Unsure of a budget. Just need birth/labor doula. Not postpartum or lactation because I'm a postpsrtum nurse and lactation consultant
Plan on giving birth in a hospital. Budget is around 2000. Preferably someone who has worked with Muslim clients.
Hi, this is my first pregnancy just trying to get a bit of guidance. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. I am a single mother so looking for a extra help
Here's a cleaner and more natural version for a Facebook post or community group: Hi everyone! I'll be giving birth at Kaiser Panorama City and I'm looking for recommendations for someone who can help me create a birth plan. I'd prefer someone who is bilingual (English/Spanish), although that's not required. It would also be great if they have experience with lactation and breastfeeding support. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Plan to give birth in a hospital, budget around $40-$50/hour, need someone who has experience working with newborns, can give input on newborn development and knows how to care for a new mother.
I plan to give birth at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank. My due date is July 12. I am looking for an experienced female doula to support me during labor and especially postpartum. I would appreciate help with newborn care, including feeding, bathing, soothing, sleep support, and guidance during the first weeks after birth. I speak English, Armenian, and Russian, and I would prefer a doula who speaks Armenian or Russian, though English is also fine. Experience with first-time mothers is a big plus. I have Health Net through Medi-Cal, so I am looking for a doula whose services are fully covered by my insurance, with no out-of-pocket costs if possible.

I plan to give birth at St. Joseph's Hospital, Orange. I am hoping that my doula requirements get covered by my Aetna PPO insurance. I do not have a birth plan yet. I am looking for help with birthing, mental support and postpartum help. I might ask for additional help, not decided yet.

Doula near Valley Village area to deliver at St Josephs in Burbank CA. Free or affordable.
I'm looking for a patient-centered doula who can advocate for my needs on delivery day. I want an easeful, peaceful birth where I can feel like my needs are fully heard. I haven't had the best experience with my Kaiser doctors thus far. I'll be delivering at Kaiser Sunset (I am a Kaiser patient so would need someone who takes KP insurance). Birth plan is low intervention/no rush, epidural.
My wife would like to have someone there to advocate for her and help her in the birthing process as well as postpartum. I'm with the WGA insurance but it doesn't look like having a doula is covered.
I need someone whom I can talk about anxiety with the cost of being an older mom.
