Postpartum meals: Experience preparing herbal soups, tonics, bone broths, sesame chicken, ginger rice, etc. References: Ability to provide recent references from families in the U.S. Background check: Verified identity, health clearance (no infectious diseases), and clean criminal record. Lactation support: Knowledge of breastfeeding techniques, latching, breast massage for engorgement, and formula feeding if necessary. Optional but preferred Postpartum recovery knowledge: Support for traditional Chinese zuo yuezi (坐月子) practices, including rest, warmth, and gradual movement. Nutrition: Skilled in cooking traditional confinement meals (yue zi fan 月子饭), balancing Western dietary needs if requested. Newborn care: Bathing, swaddling, soothing, burping, diapering, and cord care. Sleep routines: Helping establish healthy sleep and feeding schedules. Health monitoring: Checking baby’s temperature, jaundice, digestion, and alerting parents to concerns. Soothing techniques: Gentle methods for colic, fussiness, or gas relief.

Postpartum care as a single mom, giving birth in hospital. Not sure about budget yet.

I am a second time mom, pregnant with twins. I will be giving birth in a hospital, but am planning on a natural a birth with as little intervention as possible.

I’m alone here in the state and I’m worried of not being able to take care of my self or the baby in case my delivery was hard. My husband has a lot of work and I might be home alone most of time. I want to make sure someone helps if I had a surgery or a hard delivery. I’m giving birth at WAKEMED Raleigh. I’m on Medicaid and I don’t have a plan.

Need Help after c section and caring for newborn baby. Preferably a doula who accepts medicaid

We are expecting our second child this spring and are looking for overnight support for mom once a week or every other week starting in early May, when dad returns to work, so he can get a good night's sleep. Support would include helping mom to change baby and get set up for breastfeeding, attending to our toddler if baby wakes the toddler up, helping get baby back to sleep if there are issues, baby laundry (running through washer/dryer/folding), downstairs child area tidying (helping us to put away books and toys), and potentially helping with some light food prep (washing and cutting up fruit and veg). Our preference would be alternating Wednesday nights, Tuesday ok too. Probably looking at 4 (but possibly up to 6) visits during those two months, ideal hourly rate $40.

I plan to give birth at the hospital. I would appreciate receiving limited prenatal support, birthing support and postpartum support. My main needs are postpartum support. My estimated budget is $2000. I would like to receive medical intervention/medication. I would like to delay cord cutting and engage in delayed baths. I am open to other birthing plan options.
