My husband and I are federal workers and are being affected by the government shutdown. I am still figuring out a birth plan. This will be my first birth.

I want to have my baby at the Hospital. Everything will be billed and taken care of through United health care I don’t really have an actual birth plan as of yet

I will be delivering at Sentara Leigh hospital in Norfolk, VA. I am a part of their midwifery program. I am searching for a doula that accepts Cigna medical care plan.

Plan to give birth in hospital in Charleston SC. Budget: $10,000 I will have to have a scheduled c-section and this is my 4 child. I would love a postpartum doula to be around to assist with light cleaning of baby bottles, laundry care and assist with light meals for the other kids.

I plan to give birth in a hospital in Irmo,SC. I am hoping insurance will cover portion of cost. I plan on immediate skin to skin contact, no cleaning/bathing, delayed cord clamping, delayed shots and eye ointment. It is crucial that I get the first 2 hours with my baby alone unless medically necessary.

I’m 34 years old and currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I plan to give birth at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. I currently don’t have health insurance, and am enrolled in VA Healthcare, which is the benefit that has been paying for all of my prenatal and maternity care thus far. My active duty fiance and I plan to get married mid-February, 2026, and I will then have Tricare Prime health insurance as his dependent. My estimated budget is whatever Tricare Prime will cover for a certified doula. My birth plan has not been created yet.

I would like to give birth at home but most likely I would have to give birth in a hospital due to gestational diabetes. My budget is hopefully less than a few hundred dollars unless covered by Medicaid if given a provider that accepts Medicaid. I would like to be able to go into labor naturally without having to be induced early(doctors like to induce women with gestational diabetes) I would also like to be able to freely move around as I've never had that freedom given I was induced and also recieved the epidural due to being in pain with both of my children.

Looking for someone to assist us in our home with our new child as we learn to be parents and continue to support me as I heal from childbirth. Live in King and Queen county. Delivering at Riverside in Newport News. I have Anthem Healthkeepers thru Medicaid. I’ve had C-section in 2001. Vbac in 2005,2008,2013,2017. And a C-section in 2024. I’d like to have a vbac again. I have no partner to be there, although we live in the same house, we are not together. I don’t have much help now or will after the delivery.

Scheduled C-Section at Norfolk General Hospital - Norfolk, VA first week of March I have anthem blue cross blue shield as well as Carrot and have no problem paying a package/hourly I am high risk and dealing with many medical issues, I need Prepartum support (Light house duties, help with 2 year old, help with meals or meal plans, helping plan my delivery bag and nursery) I struggle to lift and walk with severe pelvic dysfunction and need help with relaxation and self care. I need to stay calm and have a lower heart rate during delivery due to POTS (I can easily pass out with high heart rate) I need the same care postpartum as well as I will be recovering from a C-section.
