I’m a Licensed Midwife (LM), Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), and full-spectrum birth worker with 25 years of experience supporting families through the childbearing year. My journey began with hands-on caregiving as a teen and evolved into a deeply rooted, evidence-informed midwifery practice that honors both clinical excellence and cultural humility. After years in early childhood education, culinary arts, and caregiving roles, I pursued my formal training in midwifery at Bastyr University, earning a Master of Science in Midwifery. Since then, I’ve attended over 200 births and provided hundreds of families with compassionate care through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. I specialize in out-of-hospital birth, postpartum care, lactation support, and newborn transitions. I’ve worked across diverse communities, including high-profile clients, international families, and those navigating complex psychosocial or medical needs. My approach blends practical support with trauma-informed, family-centered care that respects bodily autonomy, informed choice, and collaborative healthcare. In addition to my clinical work, I manage and mentor through Daisy Midwifery, LLC, a collective that uplifts birth workers through professional development, administrative support, and peer guidance. I believe midwifery is both a calling and a commitment to collective well-being. Whether I'm catching babies, supporting newborn feeding, or walking with a client through postpartum recovery, my goal is to show up fully, with skill, softness, and strength.
