I don’t have a birth plan yet this is my first pregnancy after 2 miscarriages and I want the best experience possible
Currently 6 months pregnant. Want to have birth At hospital/ use insurance If possible . Want someone to help keep calm & support me while try to give natural birth
I plan to give birth in a hospital. As of right now, I plan to have an unmedicated birth.
Where do you plan to give birth (home or hospital)? We are planning a hospital birth, with the intention to labor at home as long as it is safe before going to the hospital. Estimated budget Our estimated budget for doula support is $1,200 to $2,000. We recognize this is a significant investment and are prioritizing it because this is our first birth and we are aiming for a low-intervention experience. Describe your birth plan We are planning, for the most part, an unmedicated hospital birth and strongly want to avoid an epidural. We are open to nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as a pain management option if needed. Movement during labor is very important to us, including walking, upright labor positions, and frequent position changes to support comfort and labor progress. We are looking for a doula who is comfortable providing early labor support at home, along with hands-on comfort measures, breathing and grounding techniques, and partner coaching. Advocacy is also important to us. We want support with communicating and upholding our birth preferences with hospital staff, as well as maintaining clear boundaries around who is present during labor, including support with limiting family presence in the birthing room. We value calm, evidence-informed guidance that prioritizes safety while supporting our goals.
1. Hospital 2. Unknown 3. Natural , delayed cord clamping , golden hour
First pregnancy. Will be giving birth in hospital. Estimated budget of $1000-1500. Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one. Whether that be through breathing techniques, deferred sensation like a birth comb, water, etc. Want to avoid a C-section unless emergency demands it. Delayed cord clamp and immediate skin to skin as long as not an emergency. Want to try breastfeeding, and pumping, but not opposed to formula if needed.
I plan to give birth at Carle hospital in Champaign, but I live in Charleston, IL. I’m not sure what my budget is, or what my birth plan is. I am looking for someone specifically who does not take a faith based approach. This is my first child, and I don’t have any family nearby. I also have been trying to get pregnant for 4.5 years and am very anxious.
I plan to give vaginal birth in a hospital with no epidural and in a different position that lying on my back. I have Tricare West Prime Remote insurance.
