Hello! I am due with my first on 11/8 and am hoping for an unmedicated birth. I'm looking to hire a doula to help with labor support and guide me through different positions/movements to help things keep moving. I will be delivering at Duke and my OB is Durham Women's Clinic

We are first-time parents looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to support us during the first few weeks after delivery. We are both working from home, and our mothers will take turns helping during the daytime, so our main need is overnight newborn care and postpartum support. We would like someone experienced with newborn feeding, soothing, diapering, safe sleep, and helping establish a manageable nighttime routine. Breastfeeding support or experience working alongside an IBCLC would be a plus. We prefer someone with several years of newborn experience, infant CPR certification, and strong references. We are currently exploring part-time overnight care, approximately 3-4 nights per week during the first 4–8 weeks postpartum. Budget is flexible depending on experience and schedule. Our goal is to get enough rest while still being actively involved in feeding and bonding with the baby.
