As first time parents, I had no idea what to expect when it came to the labor process. After speaking with my midwife, choosing a doula was something we decided to do; but that too, was scary to me. Then we came across Chelsea & the search stopped! From the first message interaction, to our very last visit together, both my husband and I always felt supported & heard. Chelsea brings such a positive & calming presence every room she’s in. During the labor process, she was my voice when I didn’t know what to say and my pain relief when I didn’t know what should be next. If you’re looking for a kind, compassionate, intelligent doula, look no further! I went searching for a doula and my family came out having a forever friend. Thank you Chelsea!

If you are thinking about hiring a doula, Chelsea is the girl for you. I decided very last minute that it was something I may be interested in before child birth, and I don’t know if I could have made a better decision in my entire pregnancy. Chelsea is one of the most kind, knowledgeable, peaceful people on the planet, and I’m not kidding, she is the only thing that got me through my grouling labor. She was an advocate for me to the hospital staff and made sure every part of my birth plan was covered exactly how I wished… she was a perfect resource to bounce stupid questions off of, and she brought a very chill but positive vibe into the delivery room. She held me while I got my epidural (before it became disconnected mid 22 hour labor), she was holding my hips as I was getting contractions, and she was using pressure points to get me through the horrendous pain. She sets the tone to your labor with multiple soothing touches that she brings with her. My husband is not one to compliment many, and I caught him multiple times saying “thank god my wife hired Chelsea” so that should truly be a testament in itself. She will be a friend forever, and I’m so grateful she came into my life. If you are thinking about hiring her, please don’t think about it for another minute, and just do it! :)
