I plan to give birth at NRGH and my family doctor is an OBGYN so he will be my provider throught my pregnancy. I hope to give birth vaginally with some kind of medical pain management however its important to me that I be able to move around and Id rather not give birth on my back. Im looking into doula support because I would like to have help advocating for myself and some guidance through the birth process. I am historically a pretty anxious person and have previously experienced pregnancy loss. I dont exactly know what budget I should have Im just trying to get a read on prices? I dont have a whole lot of expendable income and would be absolutely willing to have a new/student doula. My sibling is a new doula and Ive seen how hard it was for them to get the first couple families so I have a soft spot for those starting out!

This will be my second birth. My first one was 34 hours of labour then failure to progress at 7cm and resulted in a c-section. I would like to try for a VBAC this time and would like support with that. Victoria general hospital. I don’t know what a doula costs so unsure on budget

I plan to give birth at BC Womens Hospital with a midwife. My budget for a doula is up to $2,000 maximum. I would like to stay home as long as possible before heading to the hospital for delivery. I don't have too many preferences for the provider, but it would be nice if they had experienced labour so they can guide me. I am 30, first time pregnancy, looking for emotional support and someone to be my advocate if needed.

I am working with Strathcona Midwifery Collective for my prenatal care. I am planning on a low-intervention vaginal birth, if possible. I am particularly interested in birth prep and support throughout the birth process. I interested in exploring the tub birth options at the hospital. HI, my husband and I are planning to deliver at BR Women's Hospital. The expected due date is Dec 24th. We live in Burnaby, close to Metrotown. Our budget is somewhat flexible but preferably within 1000-1500. We do not yet have a birth plan. That's something we hope the doula would help us with since we are both first time parents and don't really have a ton of knowledge on the whole birthing thing. We are looking for someone to come over night to help with our baby. She does not like/sleep in the bassinet and only sleeps on one of the parents. She also has reflux which makes the whole process very challenging. We need someone experienced to get her to sleep or watch her while the parents sleep.
