I will be giving birth in a hospital. I am unsure on a budget, I do have health care through my job and also medicaid if that helps. I don't really have a birth plan, this is my first child I just want to ensure that I have an advocate that'll help with necessary birth decisions.

This will be my first pregnancy and child birth. I'm am 35 years old and inexperienced. Therefore, I'm in of an experienced doula for guidance and advise pre and post child birth. My plan is th give birth at St Mary's Hospital. I am looking for advise on organizing my birth plan. My employed by SSM and my expenses will be covered by Medica insurance plan. Planning on Mercy hospital delivery, under $1,000 budget. Looking for post partum support while having a young child (11-12 month old) and new born with a spouse that works 24/7. I would like an experienced female Caucasian woman. I struggled with post partum routine with my first and looking for help for baby #2.

I plan on delivering at St Joseph Lake St Louis, I'm not really sure I have a budget in mind, just something that's reasonable. My birth plan is to try and go all natural as possible, I would like to try and refrain from having any Pitocin or an epidural. I would also like the opportunity to use nitrous oxide if I need some sort of pain relief and I want to know all my options that are available for birthing. I.E birthing tub, squat bar, etc. I plan on for sure having my husband in the room and possibly our moms but that is still up for discussion. I would like my provider to be someone that is respectful of my wishes and does their best to make sure I achieve said wishes.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I have no idea what this costs, but I’m looking for something inexpensive that accepts BCBS insurance. I’m going to work toward doing it as natural as possible. I am not anti-epidural but if I can have someone prepare me, I shouldn’t need it. My husband will be involved in my birth. But I believe I want delayed cord clamping, the golden hour, and a natural birth with as least of a risk of tearing as possible.

Hi, I’m going to be a first time mom! As I am super excited and starting to plan my near future, I am also trying to navigate how I want my birthing experience to go. I know that I would like to have a hospital birth, which I believe I have found the perfect hospital for me. As of right now I am still researching this and that. Meaning, there are so many different birthing experiences. I’m sure everyone has their dream ideal labor and delivery story to which some come true and some do not. I am fully aware anything can happen but before we go there, I do have an “ideal” way I’d like to see my labor going. I would very much prefer an unmedicated birth. My main goal is no epidural. I do have a few different reasons as to why I don’t want it, but that is something we can always get into later if you’d like! I should also mention again, this is my goal! If at any point I get to a point during labor where I absolutely want it or feel that I need it, if able to, I will change my mind. I also would love to stay away from Pitocin as long as possible as long as there are no complications etc. of course if the labor is getting dangerous for me or baby, I understand. I am also hoping as my doula (when we find each other!) you will help me understand more about these. As long as things go as planned, I plan on my mother and boyfriend being present during my labor and birth. I also hope I can add another amazing support person to the list! Someone that will 110% advocate for me if and when needed, and Someone that will keep me updated and educated! I hope to speak soon, thank you!

I want to home birth. But feel like I have no choice but to go to the hospital. Help. I don't have a budget, I'm using state insurance. I want to home birth, have my baby at home and have the comfort of my own environment. I use Illinois blue cross blue shield. My current provider is Dr. Shannon Waller Davis at heartland woman's center in shiloh Illinois I'm only using this provider because I feel like I have no choice. No options. I'm stuck in a corner and I'm in fight or flight.

I’m looking for a doula and postpartum doula. I’m giving birth in a hospital I would like the doula to have at least 5 years of experience. I would also like to know if your company excepts insurance to determine my out of pocket cost and my estimated budget is $1000-1500.

Plan to give birth at HSHS St Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, IL. First time mom to be with a birth plan consisting of natural labor, no consistent fetal monitoring, delayed cord clamping and placenta encapsulation. Planning to breastfeed.

This is my 5th baby. I really have no idea how birth will go. I made it to an induction with my 4th baby which very much surprised me. I would love not to go to 41 weeks with this baby like I have with the previous kiddos. I have done unmedicated births in the past and would prefer this birth to be unmedicated as well. Though this is a suprise 5th baby and I am very much not looking forward to delivery as I am very aware of what to expect pain wise. I have Tricare Prime insurance through TriWest.
