Hi there! I’m Ana Cristina, and I’m looking for a birth doula to support me and my husband as we get ready to welcome our first baby in early September. We’re in Elmhurst and planning a hospital birth nearby. This pregnancy is following a couple of losses, so emotional support and a calm, steady presence mean a lot to me. I’d love someone who’s warm, grounded, and able to hold space for all the feelings that might come up during labor—joy, fear, grief, all of it. We’re hoping to work with a doula who: • Is supportive and kind, without being pushy • Can offer ideas and tools (like breathing, massage, or positions) but also knows how to just be there • Gets how pregnancy after loss can feel different • Will help my husband feel confident in how he can support me • Has experience with (or is open to) working in hospital settings around here This will be our first time working with a doula, so I’m looking for someone we really connect with.
