I’m planning to give birth in a hospital because I feel most comfortable having medical support available. I definitely plan on getting an epidural for pain management, but I still want the experience to feel as calm and supported as possible. My budget is around $800–$1,500, depending on what’s included. I’m open to some flexibility if it’s a really good fit and includes prenatal and postpartum support. For my birth plan, I’m hoping for a smooth vaginal delivery, but I’m also realistic and open to whatever is safest for me and the baby. Since I plan on getting an epidural, I’d really like someone who can help me stay relaxed, guide me through the process, and support both me and my partner during labor. Communication is really important to me—I want to understand what’s happening and feel involved in decisions. After birth, I’d love immediate skin-to-skin contact and some guidance during those first few hours. Postpartum support would also be really helpful

We live in Worthington, Massachusetts, after recently moving back from Florida, where I was born and raised. Caleb grew up here in western Massachusetts, so we're happy to be closer to his family as we continue growing ours. Our first birth was a home birth that ended in an unplanned C-section, and while I'm incredibly thankful for my son and for the medical care that was available when we needed it, I'm really hoping to have a successful VBAC this time. Avoiding another cesarean is very important to me if it can be done safely, so I'm looking for a doula who is experienced with VBACs and can provide steady, knowledgeable support throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth. After my son's birth, I also struggled with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. This time around, I'm hoping that building a stronger support system before birth will help me have a healthier and more positive postpartum experience. I'm looking for someone who can not only support me during labor but also provide encouragement and guidance as our family adjusts after baby arrives. Things like helping clean the kitchen, keeping up with laundry, preparing freezer meals for our family, watching the baby when I need an extra hand, and help with breastfeeding since I really want to be successful in that this time around. More than anything, we're looking for a doula who is compassionate, encouraging, and committed to helping us make informed decisions while creating the best possible birth experience for our growing family.

Just found out my wife is pregnant she is either 3 weeks or 7 weeks. First ultrasound is scheduled for June 1st. We are Catholic and are interested in learning about natural birthing practices. Want to learn about doulas midwives and how to have either a home birth or a natural hospital birth. Want to learn about how I can advocate for my wife so we don’t get vaccinations and unnecessary procedures. We live in CT and plan to contact with Hartford hospital for our care. I make just under 3k a month with rent at 1250 every month.

I am early on in navigating my first pregnancy. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester, but I live in Charlton, MA. I am interested in having a birth doula and ideally the same candidate to help when we transition to home life for a few hours. I’m interested in having an unmediated birth, however I am aware that reality might have a different thought. Movement is a necessity for me. I have a wonderful partner, and would like to complement my support team with someone who can help me transition through labor stages as well as navigate the relationship between doctors/nurses.
