We’re a family in Round Rock (78717) seeking a reliable, experienced, and calm doula or nanny to help care for our happy 4-month-old baby boy. We’re looking for support for some daytime and/or overnight shifts. Our needs may evolve as our baby grows, and we’d love to build a stable, mid- to long-term relationship with the right caregiver. Our baby is smiley, healthy, interactive, calm, and generally easy to care for.

I plan to have a home birth. I’m currently considering a birth team, including a doula. I had intended on it being only myself and my husband present however, I don’t want to put 100% of the responsibility of my needs onto him. I intend to free birth with a lotus birth. I am not open to speaking with anyone that doesn’t understand and support that. I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support myself and my husband. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to continue self educating with free-birthing classes and hypno-birthing classes. Aside from emotional support I am also looking for someone who can cook and understands dietary needs for breastfeeding mothers. Currently in research mode at 12 week. No set budget. Putting out my feelers now for a night nanny/doula and what the cost may be; Our budget is small given that this will be our second child (currently enrolled in daycare) so we are open to maybe 2-3 nights a week if we cannot afford more. Our hope is that the night nanny/night Doula would be able to assist in feeding, changing and helping clean pumps parts once I finish. We’re planning on a hospital birth in the event I have complications like I do with my first child.
