Because of this history, I want additional support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. A doula can help monitor my well-being, provide emotional and physical support, help reduce stress, and assist with recognizing warning signs early. This support can also help reduce my risk of postpartum complications and improve my overall health outcomes.

I am a first-time mom who will be delivering by C-section around November 10th due to a rare, serious complication (vasa previa). The baby will be delivered pre-term at 36 weeks (or even early if there are emergent circumstances).
