I will request it if I feel I need it. I plan to use non-medicinal methods (e.g., movement, shower/tub, breathing). Medical Interventions: Please use intermittent fetal monitoring to allow for maximum mobility. Avoid an IV/saline lock unless medically necessary. I prefer to avoid labor-augmentation medications (like Pitocin) and allow my labor to progress on its own, unless there is a medical emergency. Delivery and Postpartum Birth of Baby: I would like to push instinctively (no coached pushing/breath-holding). I want to be in the position of my choice (e.g., standing, hands-and-knees, side-lying). Cord Clamping: I request delayed cord clamping until the umbilical cord has stopped pulsating. Immediate Postpartum: Please place the baby immediately on my chest for uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact. I request that all routine newborn procedures, like weighing and measurements, be delayed until after the first hour of skin-to-skin time. Placenta: I would like to keep my placenta. Please place it in a provided container/cooler immediately after delivery. I prefer to deliver the placenta spontaneously without Pitocin, unless medically necessary for hemorrhage prevention. Note to Staff: In the event of an unplanned C-section, I would still like the screen lowered for viewing, my partner present, and immediate skin-to-skin contact with the baby, or with my partner if I am unable.

We'll be giving birth in a hospital with the OB. Our main goal is to find a postpartum night doula. We are both first time partents, so it's good to learn some tricks from the doula too. Budget wise, we are with Anthem BCBS Georgia. I was told by Anthem that they'll cover 90% after meeting the deductible.

I am a first time mom looking to give birth at my home in a kiddie pool with my loved ones present. I am low risk. I would like to give birth as naturally as possible with no medications. I want to be in a gravity focused position and no inductions. No force tearing and when I deliver I would like the umbilical cord to be left uncut until it is white and I want to keep my placenta. Since this is my first time giving birth I would like a little assistance after delivery as in care tips and latching assistance ( I plan to breastfeed ).

I’m not currently working so I don’t have any money to pay out of pocket unfortunately. Hello! I am looking for someone to provide a post-partum over night shift for my baby so I can sleep. My baby has laryngomalacia and apnea but so far has been deemed not serious enough to require medical intervention. However, I have intense post partum anxiety so I cannot sleep as I am watching him all night. If there is any post partum support for an overnight shift to keep watch over the baby and assist with my post partum anxiety I would be extremely grateful.

In need of a (CM) certified midwife or doula. I've had a C section once back in 2022 and am being rejected from every home birthing/birthing center because of it. I live in Alabama. I want to have a waterbirth more than anything. Even if I have to do it at home. I want to do it naturally on my own and just be able to have someone there to step in if something goes wrong.
