I just found out I’m pregnant I’m just trying to see what options are out there.

I plan to birth at home for as long as I can then go to hospital. My first son I was induced at 39 weeks and that day was so long, stressful, miserable. My second came so fast, almost gave birth on the way. Just at 37 weeks. I want my experience to be more spiritual maybe is the right word? I’ve read and seen many wonderful sensual beautiful experiences, peaceful, and I absolutely dream of something like that. And someone that can help my partner actually get involved during the process instead of sleeping LOL. I have UCARE Medicare so I’m not sure if it can be covered or how that works

I am very flexible in my birthing location. I would like to do a birthing center, but a hospital would be okay as well, if needed. I do want to be able to get an epidural if the pain becomes overwhelming. I am not sure on my exact budget, as I am not sure the average prices for a doula or midwife. I would also like someone who can help me develop a birth plan that aligns with my needs!

I plan to have a water birth at home. I am in the military in Virginia right now but I am separating for pregnancy on April 29th and we are moving back to Tennessee on may 15. Before separation from the Air Force I need to find a midwife so that my OB in Virginia can send my records over and I can have a smooth transition over while moving. I am low risk and plan to do everything as natural as possible. I am 20 years old married to my high-school sweetheart and this is our first baby! I don’t know what the budget is yet because I am unsure of the costs of a and it is my first birth and this is the first place I am looking.

I would prefer a natural birth, somewhere close to a hospital if something goes wrong. But not at home. We use BCBS Highmark and are hoping to just use that or send them itemized receipts.

I am really wanted someone that can give me insight and help on achieving one of my biggest goals of going fully unmediated. I have thought about doing a home birth as I will feel more comfortable but I worry about if something goes wrong or do I go to the hospital after I give birth? I have also thought about making a birth plan and finding a hospital that won’t come in and question me 24/7 or give any pushback when I or my husband says no to something. We are hoping to go through insurance but if not possible then can talk about budget.

I've had 2 previous c sections due to supposed complications now am being pressured to have another without a real reason . I don't really have any out of pocket money to give I have a medical card. I would love to be able to try to give birth naturally one because it's something that has felt like I've been robbed of and two because I won't have much help after the baby is born as my husband only gets a week off and we have 2 other kids to take care of.

Bragg, but my hope is to keep the process as natural as possible (no epidural, and interventions only when truly necessary). Beyond that, my birth plan is still in the works. Looking for a midwife covered by my insurance, want to give birth at home.

Me and my husband planned on having a home birth with absolute no medications or epidurals. I want a complete natural birth, I would prefer for the midwife to be in the close to our area since we are located in Gastonia. Because this is my first pregnancy my budget isn’t really a specific number, I just need someone experienced and hopefully a midwife of color if it’s possible.
