Looking for a midwife near me. Ideally I’d love a home birth but I’m willing to travel to hospital or birthing center as well

I would like to find a midwife that I can have all my prenatal appointments with and give birth with either in my home or at a birthing center. I have not made a budget yet and need to see who would take my insurance.

Support during birth and right after birth. I have no family or support to help me through this. I plan to give birth at hospital. Estimated budget is around 800 in total. I am a mother of two already i plan to do a non medicated birth.

I plan to give birth at home I don't know what our budget is yet I don't really have a birth plan yet I don't even have evidence saying I'm pregnant. I have signs and symptoms. Extra weight. The nausea's not so bad now. My friends said they felt the baby moving. I went to a midwife in Georgia. Well the midwife center..anyways, the lady there that day said "I'm not the ultrasound technician. She's not in until tomorrow. But I could give it a go if you want me to." She did not know anything about the ultrasound machine. She rubbed the applicator on my stomach and didn't zoom in or anything. I swear I saw the gestational sac. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm having a phantom pregnancy. Or maybe I'm having a cryptic pregnancy. I've had two cryptic pregnancies in the past. I just need to know! For the sake of my sanity and that of my husband's. Please help.

I would like more info on having a home birth. Our budget is tight, and I’m not sure what “rates” are for home birth deliveries. I’ve always been on the fence about home births, but our current insurance (husband’s) is extremely expensive for what we can afford. Also, I am considered high risk due to my weight, but so far no concerns with the baby otherwise. This is my second pregnancy, and in the last week (around 38-39 weeks) I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. Otherwise I had a healthy first pregnancy, and so far this pregnancy is healthy as well.
