First baby - looking for support in navigating breast/bottle feeding and support for questions, concerns and post-partum support for myself and husband. I prefer in-person during daytime hours. Breast feeding was smooth sailing until my baby turned 5 months old. She started preferring the bottle when I went back to work. When I come home from work and try to breast feed her she gets frustrated very quickly and refuses to nurse. She arches off and starts crying. I’m feeling so distraught and my anxiety with nursing has gotten so bad. I’m still able to nurse her over night and in the mornings but in the evenings she has no patience to nurse.
Not fully understanding or comprehending how to get a good latch, baby and i both getting frustrated, one side being slightly easier than the other. Just lost on what im doing wrong or what i need to do to fix it, trying to wait as long as possible to try a bottle but slowly wanting to give up
