Home birth 5000 I’m looking to have our second baby in a calm, serene environment created in our home!

Midwife and/or doula. I went to my first OB appt yesterday and after the OB recommended the Covid & flu vax, I realized I can’t trust anything she says. I would like to have the most natural, non-invasive pregnancy & birth possible while also keeping it safe and having access to a hospital if needed. I think home or a birth center would be best for me, as I have severe medical trauma from past experiences. Budget is still up for discussion.

As a first time mom that doesn't want a lot of toxins injected into myself, and the baby, I need someone who will listen first and give advice second, or ask me questions until I'm comfortable. I'm at 5 weeks right now and just starting my research.

I would prefer to have a home birth if possible, I want the most relaxing experience possible for my 4th birth.

I plan to have an unmedicated home water birth. I wish to give birth in a kneeling position in a birthing pool. I wish to have movement during labour and a calm environment with dim lighting. I only want fetal monitoring if my baby is in distress or if medically necessary. I do not wish to be offered pain medication. After the baby is born i do not want to cut the umbilical cord right away until I decide when the right time is to do so.

I would like my birth experience to include prayer, affirmations, freedom of movement during labor, natural comfort measures, and a calm, peaceful environment. I want a provider who views birth as a natural process, respects informed decision-making, and is comfortable incorporating my spiritual beliefs into my care. I am interested in prenatal care, labor and birth support, postpartum follow-up, and breastfeeding guidance. I am hoping to build a trusting relationship with my midwife and create a birth experience that feels empowering, safe, and sacred for my family.

In home water birth Under $10000 Provides prenatal care like ultra sojnds and blood work

Not currently expecting, but planning. I solely am looking for a professional to come to my home and is there in case of an emergency, and to do the tedious work like weighing, measuring, and likely bring any needed paperwork. No prenatal care or post care I am set with that. To be frank, I have watched about 20 species of animals give birth, have helped if necessary , and humans have been doing just fine without medical intervention since the beginning of time; it isn’t a medical emergency (unless there is one). To be honest, it isn’t a woo-woo “beautiful” experience to me, OR something that always needs a hospital visit, it’s simply nature. But because things can still happen, I’d prefer someone there in case medical intervention is needed. Since I cannot find a birthing center near me (where I may be allowed to snack/walk/birth in any position I’d like) I am highly considering a home birth, with minimal intervention. Unless there’s an emergency you’re fine to eat snacks on the couch, if I feel sick or am in pain I kind of get irritated at the “you’re doing great” pep talk things, so I don’t think I would really enjoy that, just looking for the expertise.
