I hired Crystal Nunez to be the doula for my birth in November 2023. She unfortunately didn't uphold her end of the contract (did nothing to help me prepare for birth) so I let her go prior to the birth. She has a refund policy in her contract of 50% so I requested it and was told via email I'd receive it on multiple occasions. Well, it's March 2024 and still no refund. Crystal Nunez took $1,200 from me and DID NOT ATTEND MY BIRTH. She legit robbed me during my most vulnerable time. Not to mention, she was so mad that I fired her that she sent me nasty emails while I was actively in labor giving birth. I feel outright violated by Crystal Nunez. Do not hire her. Do not send her any money to be your Doula. I have all the Zelle records, emails, and refund requests to prove everything I'm saying. It’s absolutely ridiculous that she kept my money knowing I birthed without a doula present. She didn’t even have enough respect or professionally to tell me she’s not giving me a refund. Just lied to me, said she would, but never intended to refund me at all. My husband acted as my doula… how ridiculous is that after I paid $1,200 for Crystal to be my doula!!! What’s even more upsetting is that I didn’t even ask for the whole amount back, only half and she still couldn’t do that. It’s been months of waiting so now I’m just going to be warning other women instead of sitting around and waiting for Crystal Nunez to do the right thing.

My experience with Crystal as my doula was amazing and she was so supportive the whole time. Honestly if it wasn't for her presence I don't think I would've had as smooth of an experience. Having her by my side helped me feel so much more comfortable and nurtured. Like I could actually do this! I'm so grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone 💓 as a first time mom I'm happy I chose Crystal and would do so again if I ever have anymore children. Thank you sister!
