Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. I am in need of a night nurse for my new born baby. I need someone who's experienced to come in a few nights a week (8-6, 9-6, etc ) to provide new born care, burp, feed, and endure the baby is breathing properly throughout the night to provide us peace of mind and allow us to sleep and recover. Experienced, flexible hourly.

We are expecting our first baby around March 2, 2027 and are looking for overnight newborn support approximately 2 nights per week for the first 8–12 weeks postpartum. Ideally, we would like 10–12 hour overnight shifts and can be somewhat flexible on which two nights each week. Our main priority is safe, experienced newborn care overnight so we can get meaningful rest. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with feeding support, diaper changes, burping, soothing, settling the baby back to sleep, bottle washing/prep, and helping establish healthy newborn sleep habits when developmentally appropriate. We are open to either an experienced postpartum doula or Newborn Care Specialist and would prefer someone with newborn-specific training, CPR certification, strong references, and several years of experience. We are not looking for heavy housekeeping or cooking. Baby-related cleanup and light bottle/laundry support would be helpful. We are currently comparing providers and would like to understand your hourly or overnight rate, minimum shift requirements, and any package pricing for recurring 2-night-per-week support.

This is my first time having a child, so I am looking for someone who can help me and my husband adjust to parenting and feel more comfortable with caring for our newborn. We are especially looking for overnight support, including helping with the baby during nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and getting her back to sleep. Our baby will be a newborn, and we are looking for someone who has professional newborn or infant-care experience, strong references, good values, and a good educational background. We would prefer someone who is certified in infant/child CPR and first aid and has several years of experience caring for newborns. A second language is a plus but is not required. We also have two poodles, so it is important that the person is comfortable around dogs and treats them kindly. We may occasionally need help with light household cleaning, baby laundry, and keeping the nursery and baby areas organized while caring for the baby. Overall, we are looking for someone who is caring, trustworthy, patient, responsible, respectful of our parenting decisions, and able to provide reassurance and support as we learn how to navigate being first-time parents. In regards to budget, we are hoping we can go through insurance.

Looking for a night nanny for 3nights a week beginning the first week of January. (M, Wed, Thurs is the plan for now). Looking for a 10 hour shift 8pm-6am, but also open to 9pm to 7am.
