This is my first pregnancy and I’m still in the very early stages, so I’m looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and well-educated who can help guide me through the process. I don’t have a birth plan yet and haven’t decided where I would like to give birth. I’d love someone who can educate me on my options, answer my questions, help me understand what to expect, and support me in making informed decisions as my pregnancy progresses. It’s also really important to me that I find someone I feel genuinely comfortable with and can trust—someone warm, supportive, and easy to talk to. I’m open to discussing budget based on experience and the services offered.

Hi everyone, I am looking for an experienced birth doula to support me during my upcoming delivery. I will be giving birth at Richmond Birth Centre and am looking for someone who: • Has solid experience supporting births and is comfortable with early labour, active labour and postpartum support • Lives in or is very close to Richmond and can provide reliable, short notice/on-call support when labour begins • Is fully vaccinated and up to date with routine vaccinations • Is calm, supportive and reassuring, especially for a first-time mother who may need some extra emotional reassurance • Is available for birth support on an hourly basis, as I would prefer to pay based on the actual hours of support rather than a fixed package • Is also available for overnight newborn/postpartum support after the birth My preference would be to start with birth support on an hourly basis. If we are a good fit and I am happy with the support, I would be interested in continuing with the same doula for overnight postpartum/newborn support during the first few weeks. First baby born one month ago. Live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Richmond BC. I’m interested in daytime postpartum doula support in the afternoon/early evening time approx. 4-5 hours at a time. Looking for an extra pair of hands to allow more rest and down time for mom, such as assisting with settling the baby and putting them down, baby care such as trimming nails, bath time, baby laundry. HI, my husband and I are planning to deliver at BR Women's Hospital. The expected due date is Dec 24th. We live in Burnaby, [personal details hidden]. Our budget is somewhat flexible but preferably within 1000-1500. We do not yet have a birth plan. That's something we hope the doula would help us with since we are both first time parents and don't really have a ton of knowledge on the whole birthing thing.
