First baby, giving birth in Vancouver, BC. Trying to go unmedicated but open to whatever the situation requires. Would like to avoid induction and minimized tearing (wouldn’t we all!). 38 years old.

I plan to give birth at BC Womens Hospital with a midwife. My budget for a doula is up to $2,000 maximum. I would like to stay home as long as possible before heading to the hospital for delivery. I don't have too many preferences for the provider, but it would be nice if they had experienced labour so they can guide me. I am 30, first time pregnancy, looking for emotional support and someone to be my advocate if needed.

our baby in early November and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist in Vancouver. Since this is our first baby, we would appreciate someone who can confidently care for our newborn while also teaching and guiding us with feeding, soothing, bathing, safe sleep, and establishing healthy routines. We are particularly interested in overnight support during the first few weeks, with the possibility of daytime assistance as well. Infant CPR certification, excellent references, and extensive newborn experience are important to us.

We're looking for someone to help postpartum (for sure in the first two weeks and then periodically when my husband goes back to work). We want a provider who has done this for at least a couple years, is certified in CPR and is okay with dogs (my border collie mix is super friendly but if you're allergic then we won't be a good fit!) Looking to learn how to identify cues when baby is hunger vs uncomfortable vs needing to burp. Help with baby first bath Budget is $1K-$2K.

Lord willing, I will give birth to our third-born this October in Langley, BC, canada. I plan to give birth at my parents little cottage at the back of their property. Hospital birth, 1k-1.5k or private insurance. Unsure if I’m going to attempt a VBAC or repeat CC I would love BF support

I plan to give birth at NRGH and my family doctor is an OBGYN so he will be my provider throught my pregnancy. I hope to give birth vaginally with some kind of medical pain management however its important to me that I be able to move around and Id rather not give birth on my back. Im looking into doula support because I would like to have help advocating for myself and some guidance through the birth process. I am historically a pretty anxious person and have previously experienced pregnancy loss. I dont exactly know what budget I should have Im just trying to get a read on prices? I dont have a whole lot of expendable income and would be absolutely willing to have a new/student doula. My sibling is a new doula and Ive seen how hard it was for them to get the first couple families so I have a soft spot for those starting out!

This will be my second birth. My first one was 34 hours of labour then failure to progress at 7cm and resulted in a c-section. I would like to try for a VBAC this time and would like support with that. Victoria general hospital. I don’t know what a doula costs so unsure on budget
