I plan to give birth at home/ hospital still undecided. Hoping for someone who will support me during birth with guidance and hands on support like massage etc. also would like someone to come after birth to teach me childcare for newborn and help with other baby related concerns.

I plan on giving birth in a birthing center or hospital that has a bath tub as I want to labour in a tub, I want someone who can educate me on my options and choices during labour to help crest a birth plan and to teach my partner how he can help me during labour. Hello, my name is Kate, I am in need of a birthing doula, I am wanting to do a water birth at a birthing center or hospital. I have double insurance and am trying to find a doula that takes my insurances. I have had 2 c-sections, I am praying for a VBAC for my 3rd baby. I had my last child 6 years ago. I am 29 years old. I currently only make $1000 a month, I just started a paraeducator job. So id prefer to use my insurance if possible. If not if payments can be arranged id love to see options.

This will be our second baby. We were fortunate to have a doula the first go around as well. The only reason we are searching in the direction of a new doula is because I would not only like to support doulas that are POC, but as a Latinx woman, I’m seeking a deeper connection with someone that can empathize with me on a level that doesn’t have to be explained. We would love advocacy support in the labor room. That was very important the first go around; someone who is outspoken and willing to take the rains. An emotional support person for my husband and myself during labor, as well as someone to provide post partem support that isn’t in the newborn dog/ bliss, like we will be. Ideally, I would like to give birth at the Midwifery center at St. Joes again. Our budget might be around $1000, though we plan to save up some more depending on the right fit. My birth plan is similar to the first go around, all unexpected situations considered; no induction, or epidural. Immediate chest to chest, cutting the cord once it’s no longer red. Having electrolytes and snacks available. Tend unit, availability. Having someone people that is warm and encouraging.

I need as much support as possible this is my sixth pregnancy but I’ve only delivered 4 babies. I’m very nervous this time around due to loss I am seeking the most peaceful way possible to welcome baby in this world I’d love to have a midwife for support with emotional factors as well. I’m also considering a water birth but I’m not sure due to not knowing a lot about them. My support system is very small and I feel that baby and I will be better taken care of through midwifery my pregnancy is very special to me this time I’m going to meet my rainbow baby.

As first-time parents, we are looking for a knowledgeable, supportive doula to guide us through childbirth and the postpartum period. Mom is Black and has growing fears due to the alarming maternal health disparities that impact Black women, and is also concerned about the potential for postpartum depression. Dad is white and eager to learn, but doesn’t yet know much about the birth process. We are both seeking someone who can help us feel empowered, educated, and supported—emotionally, physically, and mentally. Ideally, we’d love a doula who is culturally sensitive, affirming, and experienced in supporting families navigating birth and early parenthood with compassion and care We plan to give birth at St. Elizabeth’s in Enumclaw, WA, we would like to keep our budget around $1000. We don’t have an official birth plan. But plan for IV meds MAYBE and epidural but wanting to hold off on that.
