I plan to give birth at Baptist Women’s in Memphis. I am not really sure of a budget as I don’t really know how much a doula usually is. I am a little bit concerned about the price, of course, however I feel that I could benefit from a doula. I am not sure if my birth will be medicated or unmedicated yet and feel that I will make that decision when I get there!

I have had o e prior child as a vaginal birth, I labored for over 24hrs, did end up with an epidural at 9.5cm (I did not want one), had a 2nd sac of water, and did have a tear. I did not want to push on my back and made that clear, it didn’t change anything, I asked for delayed cord clamping, it did not change anything. I did not have a lot of the things I wanted met.
