I will be giving birth at Baylor All saints in Fort Worth. Not sure about a budget yet I just want the best support. My first couple pregnancies were rough. I’m in a season of trying to enjoy it all and make sure this time around I have endless support through my process. I need help with a birth plan. I know I want to try unmedicated, I want to set the mood in my delivery room with blue lights, aroma therapy and white noise or nature sounds. I plan to deliver using the squat bar method and I do want to use a mirror to see it all. I just want to be present, safe, healthy and feel in control.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I am a young first time mother so my budget is low i will only be supported off my baby’s father’s income. I don't particularly have a birth plan but i do know that the stuff I've been researching doctors often decline the mothers opinion and do as they please. I am interested in seeking out and using a doula for my birth. This is new to me! This isn’t second pregnancy and I had preeclampsia and had to be induced (not fun). I’m currently taking baby aspirin to hopefully reduce my chances. I’ve thought about and considered not getting an epidural. I’m scared but think it would help my chances of not tearing (also miserable). I want to be educated and learn different things than what I did the first time. I will give birth in a hospital. I have no idea how much that costs and if insurance covers that or not.

I am planning to birth at home. We have a midwife. We’re hoping that my insurance will cover the doula. I know I want to reduce possibility of tearing, so we have decided on a water birth or pushing on the side.

My husband and I are looking for a birth Duola and a post-partum Duola. We live in Fraser, Co but plan to give birth in Denver likely at St. Josephs.
