1. Hospital 2. Looking for overnight support once or twice a week for 8 to 12 weeks 3. TBD
Hello! My name is Ali! I'm currently expecting my second baby this June (EDD 6/18/26). I live on Wollaston Beach in Quincy with my partner, Jonathan and our 3-year old daughter. I am interested in working with a doula who can both support my birth (w/ midwives at Mt Auburn Hospital) and postpartum experience at home. Though my 1st birth went smooth enough, I feel as though I could have had an even better birth experience with support from a doula. I am planning to have an unmedicated birth in hopes that it will result in a smoother recovery and more empowering experience overall. Going into birth, I am most anxious/dreading the postpartum season. I hope that having some support during that time would help make it a little easier and would love to have someone who can be there for this time as well as during birth. I currently have MassHealth insurance, and would love to utilize it for birth/postpartum doula services!

Where do you plan to give birth (home/hospital)? Hospital Provide your estimated budget: only insurance BCBS Describe your birth plan: Don't have one yet Describe your requirements for the provider (certification, number of years of experience, second language spoken): It would be nice if you understood and spoke Spanish, but it is not a requirement. Details about care recipients (Age, special needs, feeding, etc.): I am 33 years old, have ADHD, pre-diabetic. Include any additional duties (Sleep training, cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.): Sleep Training would be nice, cooking would be even better. I would like some help with the baby, as I am in school and only have my husband around for help. Provide your estimated budget: I am hoping the whole thing is covered by insurance. Include your insurance provider's name and plan details: My insurance does cover Doula, but I may need a prescription or justification from my OB. Currently, I am on my spouse's family plan in BCBS Anthem PPO.

Hello, I’m reaching out because our household is currently down with flu-like symptoms (not covid) just a very bad cold and we’re struggling to care for ourselves and our 5yo son. We’re looking for short-term, in-home support as soon as possible — ideally someone with postpartum or family care experience who can step into a nurturing, hands-on role for a few hours at a time. The kind of support we need includes: - Preparing simple, nourishing food (soups, tea, light meals) - Helping us stay on top of hydration and basic medication timing (no medical care needed) - Keeping our child safe, engaged, and emotionally supported - Light household reset (kitchen, tidying main areas) - Creating a calm, taken-care-of environment while we rest We are happy to pay your hourly rate and cover any groceries or supplies needed. Timing: We are looking for help as soon as possible (today or tomorrow if available), for a few hours per visit. We’re flexible with scheduling and open to multiple visits if it’s a good fit. If you or someone in your network has availability, we would be incredibly grateful. Please let me know your availability, rates, and how quickly you might be able to start. Thank you so much for your time and consideration — we truly appreciate it.

I am looking for a postpartum doula who can help take care of our baby at night. I am scheduled to have a C-section and know I will need some extra care to recover and looking for someone to help with nights.
My name is Julia, I am a physician, and my sweet husband and I are expecting a baby girl at the end of May. We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy caregiver who can provide overnight support several nights per week, while also offering hands-on guidance to help us build confidence as new parents (e.g., swaddling, bathing, soothing techniques). We are thinking initially 4-5 nights a week (9-10 hours) maybe weaning down to 3 for a total of 12 weeks. We would like someone who would help with a feeding/pumping schedule, developing good sleep patterns, help with cleaning only related to baby (baby's clothes, pumping materials etc). For context, we experienced a late stillbirth two years ago after an otherwise healthy pregnancy. Because of this, we are especially hoping to find someone who is not only experienced with newborn care, but also sensitive to families who may be navigating some anxiety around this transition. We do not want to break the bank so looking for someone who is reasonably priced. Needs to be CPR and newborn care certified, English speaking, onsmoker. Thank you so much for considering working with us.
Seeking a certified night doula, ideally with some lactation experience who would be available to help us for the first 6 weeks with our new baby.
We will be having our first child and are looking to for support during the birth of the child and immediately after as we transition into our new journey.
