Hello! I am due mid-May with my 2nd daughter. I will begin giving birth in La Plata. I’m looking for a for a nanny to watch my 2nd while I give with. My husband will be with me during labor. Unfortunately, due to being a military family and just moving to the area, we do not have much family support.

I am hoping to give birth in a hospital and I would like to find a doula that accepts insurance. I am interested in having a natural birth with no induction. I am also open to having an epidural but I have 3 sisters who have all given birth naturally to all of their babies so I think I can do it too. I'm looking for additional support specifically at birth. My husband is very supportive but he also has some anxiety in medical situations and we both think it would be great to have an in-person doula for additional and experienced support.

Hello, I'm planning on delivering at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This will be my 3rd birth and aiming for a VBAC (first was vaginal after several days of induction and long labor in 2022 and second was C-section after several days of induction and short period of pushing in 2024). My current doctor (used for my first birth) fully supports/encourages my choice for a VBAC.
