I’m looking to deliver at Inova hospital in Northern Virginia. I have a midwifery team looking for extra support of a nutritionist, doula, acupuncturist, massage therapist, and possibly an exercise instructor. I do have commercial insurance Carefirst BCBS, PPO

Dad and I need that extra layer of support to help speak up for us and we need a birthing coach it’s important for us to be able to deliver vaginally so we need techniques and someone to help us get through it . Both of our mothers are deceased so it’s important for us to have that support . We would like to deliver at the hospital just in case and my insurance will cover services

Hello, I plan to give birth at home and am open to a water birth. I have tried reaching out to multiple midwives but have not had any luck finding someone available. I am 23 weeks pregnant, feel great, baby is active and am so thankful. I have not seen any doctor and truly do not want to have our first baby in a hospital unless necessary. Last time I gave birth it was like the nurses weren’t paying attention and keep telling to push, push, push. Talking to each other while holding on my legs. Then, she ask me to stop pushing immediately that she needed to call the doctor. The doctor barely had time to catch my baby when she came out of me. She came out so fast that I had a 3rd degree tear. I do not want to go through this again. I would also need help breastfeeding because last time I couldn’t and I really want this time around.

I will be giving birth in a hospital. I want as natural as possible and the freedom to move about during labor. I want someone who will be able to advocate for me and my needs/wants when I am unable or being pressured by doctors. I also want someone to help with main management and giving me strategies to use throughout labor. I am not sure of my budget.

I plan to give birth at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. I need a doula that is accepted by Tricare. My birth plan is as little intervention as possible. I want to deliver vaginally with no epidural. I want someone who can help prepare me for labor, provide knowledge of the process, and assist my husband in helping me through labor and advise on any decisions that might need to be made in the moment.

I want some one to be there for my delivery and get my placenta. I want my placenta made into capsules. I want my umbilical cord to be clamped after 5-10 minutes ( basically when cord is white ). I don’t want my daughter vaccinated or any other shots at birth. I’m delivering my daughter at highland hospital. I want to try natural, but will get an epidural if needed. This is my first child. I plan to give birth at Sentara in Woodbridge but my OB’s office is in Stafford. I have Medicaid. I don’t have a birth plan but I’d like help creating one. I’ve had past miscarriages and this pregnancy has been healthy, but lonely and scary. I’d like the support of a doula for many reasons.

Giving birth in Fredericksburg, Virginia (Mary Washington Hospital.) EDD is 4/28/26 but I am AMA and have been told they won't let me go past 39 weeks, which would be delivery around 4/21. It is the first birth for both me and my husband. I have gestational diabetes but it is fully diet controlled and I've been given no indication that I'll need to be induced earlier or have a c-section. I am hopeful to go spontaneously before needing to be induced, because I really want to avoid an epidural (I don't mind other pain meds, but I do not want to be numb), and I've heard that being induced makes it much more likely you'll need an epidural. We've done all of our birth classes already (labor and delivery, breastfeeding, home with baby) so mostly looking for delivery support at this point. Never thought about using a doula until this last week or so, which is why I'm a little late to the game!
