I plan on giving birth at OSU. I want someone that will advocate for me. I want someone that will help me look through my birth plan. I want someone that will make labor easier or at least peaceful to the best they can.

I plan to give birth at cape fear valley hospital. I budget would be $1500 if possible. I was induced before so i want this birth as natural as possible, so using a-lot of natural comfort measures but epidural offered if the pain becomes too much. I want continuous emotional support, encouragement and guidance. No induction, routine ruptures, continuous iv fluids and unnecessary vaginal exams unless medically necessary. I would like immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, and my partner and doula being present the entire time. Lastly, breastfeeding support, no formula for baby, rooming in with baby, and just all around comfort and pain management through non medical technics are a priority until otherwise.

I desire a physiological, unmedicated birth and kindly request support for movement throughout labor, including walking, bouncing, and changing positions. I prefer dim lighting and calming frequency or chakra-balancing sounds to promote relaxation. I would appreciate gentle coaching during pushing while allowing my body to lead naturally, with a preference for squatting or hands-and-knees positions. After birth, I desire immediate skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping, partner cord cutting, and initiation of breastfeeding. I would like to discuss and give informed consent regarding Vitamin K, eye ointment, and the Hepatitis B vaccine prior to administration when possible. If induction or emergency intervention becomes necessary, I request clear explanations, shared decision-making, and for my partner to remain with our baby at all times. My intention is to feel safe, respected, informed, and empowered throughout this experience. My body is wise, my baby is safe, and I birth with calm strength and trust

Hello, Looking for a doula that takes Medicaid for a September birth.

I plan to give birth at the hospital and am told my insurance covers doula services at no cost to me. I would like to have a smooth birth with little to no pain medications. This is my 4th birth and first time looking into doula services

I would like to give birth at home. I have a huge fear of medical interventions given for childbirth in the hospitals after having a traumatic first birth in hospital. I may need help with informed decisions a long the way, but am most concerned about having help with maybe the last few weeks leading up to birth (I tend to get depressed) and the birthing process itself. I’d like to birth at home not in water when baby is ready with no intervention at all. Delayed cord clamping until cord is completely white. No eye ointment or vit k. I have taken hypnobirthing classes for a previous birth and would like to incorporate that again. I have no clue what even the cost of such services would look like, but am trying to not put too much of a price on the services as I am having trouble getting a midwife and Windsor and am fearful of what I will do if I don’t find one as I have a terrible fear of facing medical intervention and going to the hospital when in labour.

First time mom, first pregnancy, so wildly uneducated in all of it! Would prefer to give birth at home or birthing center, hospital as last resort. Not sure on budget, obviously if covered by insurance that’s preferred. Ideally around $6,000. I would prefer an unmedicated birth, and that’s as far as I’ve gotten in a birth plan.

Baby born 37 + 3. Difficulty latching and minimal sucking seen/felt, quick to exhaust during feeding, no milk supply yet, difficulty hand expressing and pumping colostrum so far, concerns of baby not getting enough to eat and getting milk supply.

I plan on having a hospital birth but with as little medications as possible. As close to natural as my body can handle, but in a setting where i have the option and opportunity to change my mind up until the last minute. I want someone able to provide that extra step of care, the nurturing and caring side of pregnancy that is a little less common in a medical setting. My budget is currently still being decided upon but I do have a bit of flexibility in that area.

I had gave birth vaginally with my first child but had a c-section with my second because he breached himself so I want to be near a hospital in case something happens but would like to have a home birth this time.
