I’m looking to have a natural unmedicated birth at the hospital. Also looking for guidance throughout my pregnancy on what I should be doing to prepare for labor and delivery. I don’t have a huge budget either. This is my first pregnancy so I’m new to all of this. But I do know that I want to inquire about having a Doula for this pregnancy.

I am planning to give birth with the midwives in the beacon health system. I would like a doula who can help with labor coaching, specifically with suggesting best labor position and strategies for labor progression and pain management. I plan to have a water birth. Our estimated budget is $800.

I will be giving birth at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. I can not go over $2,000, and am hoping to spend less than that if I can! My birth plan includes a natural birth. Vaginally, with no epidural. I do NOT want to be induced unless it is literally life or death. I plan to move around and try several positions, and am very interested in a water birth. This is my first child! 😁

Im 23 and pregnant with my first. To be honest im genuinely terrified of every aspect of this experience and it’s causing me to lose so much sleep and stress more than i imagined. I’m planning on a hospital birth with an epidural. I don’t normally tend to fully go the holistic route always. I’m out of work and am relying on my fiancé financially. I know having the emotional support from a doula will help me a lot I’m just not sure I can afford it but I’m taking a look around.

I am looking for a midwife or doula that can help make this happen for me. so far i do not have a set birth plan, i am looking for someone who will give me the good and the bad and not sugar coat anything. i am looking for someone who is very outspoken and will speak up and make me stick to whatever birth plan is decided. i am looking to have an unmedicated brith, i have no clue where this will take place. i need help !! i have united healthcare community plan insurance.

With my first I labored 24 hours, then with my second I labored 6 hours. Felt like with my second I could have done it natural if I just had some support as far as during labor with positioning and coaching and such. I labored 5.5 hours, got the epidural, and within like 5 minutes of epidural he was here. Not opposed at all to epidural if needed but would love to try to do it natural
