Home birth Faith based (Christian) Birth encouragement/support
Hi, I'm looking for someone who can support me and my husband through our first pregnancy. We are located in Niagara Falls and plan on have a hospital birth. We do not have budget in mind at the moment as I have only began my journey into this process. I would prefer if the provider was close by, certified and had a few years of experience with hospital and home births. Ideally, we would like a provider who will be able to support both me and my husband through this process. I am a speech language pathologist, 31 and my husband is a restaurant owner and a doctor, 32. We are both familiar with health care but would still like someone who is an expect in this field so that we may solely focus on taking care of ourselves and the baby when he/she arrives. If possible, we would appreciate help with sleep training, possible laundry and night duties for the first couple of weeks. I hope to hear from you soon!
I need someone to provide me with emotional support at the hospital when I give birth.

Just looking for a doula as a support person as I may not have the father of my baby in the room with me but would still like some sort of outside support besides the medical team to help advocate for me and have things running smoother. I’m giving birth at children’s hospital, I have fidelis essential plan 1 for insurance
I'm doing a home birth. We financially don't have a hard budget. I'd like a home birth that is peaceful (although intense) and to give birth in a water. I'd like my partner to be there with my care team and no one else. I'd like a certified doula, years of experience doesn't matter too much to me rather just someone I'm comfortable around in that intimate space. I speak English only. Would ideally want the doula to help for the first part of labor where we're waiting to get get to full dilation and then post partum for any help with care for my body and potentially a meal or do that can brought or made so my husband and I don't need to worry about that.
I plan to give birth at Oishei Children’s hospital. My fiancé and I are in the process of figuring out a birth plan but don’t really know where to start, since this is our first kid.
