I plan to give birth at Mount Sinai hospital. I have an OBGYN and am looking for someone professional and knowledgeable that will support me and have a more personal connection with me. I don't have a birth plan, it's my first birth and I'm really in the dark, that's why I'm looking for someone to guide me with care and compassion. After the birth, I'll have my parents and my husband's parents with us, but I still want someone with medical and professional knowledge about newborns that will be there to advise and help.

To help with the baby in the early weeks of my C-section
My wife just gave birth and we are looking for a doula to help with post-partum care, formula and breast feeding techniques, child bathing and general care methods.
Hello! I am a first-time mom expecting my baby in early September and am looking for a compassionate, experienced postpartum doula to support my family during the first 4–6 weeks after birth. I would prefer someone with at least 3–5 years of postpartum experience, current CPR/First Aid certification, and ideally lactation support (IBCLC or equivalent experience). Experience caring for mothers recovering from a cesarean birth or higher-risk pregnancies is a plus. As our family has just relocated to Toronto, we have a very small space for now, having a dependable and proactive doula who can provide guidance, reassurance, and practical education during our transition to parenthood is especially important to us. I am looking for someone who will support both my baby’s care and my recovery. My priorities include newborn care, breastfeeding guidance, diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, overnight support (bringing the baby to me for feeds, changing diapers, settling the baby afterward), light baby-related laundry, bottle and pump sterilization, light meal preparation, and helping me establish a calm, confident routine as a new mother. I have had a pregnancy complicated by multiple uterine fibroids and iron-deficiency anemia (currently improving), so I would appreciate a doula who understands maternal recovery, recognizes warning signs, and encourages rest, hydration, and healing. I am looking for a warm, patient, non-judgmental person who values evidence-based newborn care, respects our parenting preferences, maintains good communication, and is comfortable working collaboratively with healthcare providers if needed. Initially, I am interested in 2 overnight shifts per week and 1–2 daytime visits per week, with flexibility depending on how recovery and the baby’s needs progress. My preferred budget is approximately CAD $2,000 for the initial postpartum period, although I am open to discussing package options for the right person. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our support system during this special transition into parenthood.
