Supporting birth is my life’s purpose. Growing up, I had the great privilege of attending the births of all 3 of my younger siblings. I was completely in love with the magic of pregnancy, childbirth, and brand new babies and families from then on. I have been a doula since 2024 and attended 60+ births since then. I’ve seen people birth their babies all different ways: hospital, home, birth center, water birth, unmedicated, with epidurals, planned cesareans, unplanned cesareans, twins, and VBACs. I see birth as a family centered event, no matter where and how it occurs. I am currently attending a local registered nursing program. After obtaining my RN, I hope to gain my master’s degree in nurse-midwifery. With my educational background, and passion for knowing the intricacies of the human body, I offer a unique perspective while providing doula care to my clients. I want you to understand your birth setting, your healthcare team and their roles, and prepare you for the different ways birth can unfold.

Hi, I’m Kristan! I’m the person behind Starlit Babies, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and mom. I’ve spent more than 20 years working with children and families. I love helping parents figure out feeding, get comfortable caring for their newborn, and feel a little more like themselves along the way. My approach is practical and collaborative. I want to hear what’s working, what feels hard, and what you want help with. Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, using formula, or combining them, we’ll work toward your goals with support that fits your life. Based in Santa Clara, I offer in-home lactation visits and daytime postpartum support throughout nearby Bay Area communities. You can book feeding support on its own or combine it with hands-on newborn care and education.

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a BADT Certified Full Spectrum Doula providing compassionate birth and postpartum support. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, informed, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey. I believe this is your body, your baby, and your experience. I’m here to support your choices, help you understand your options, advocate for your voice, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you and your family. I welcome private-pay clients and also work with Blooming Families Doula Services, where eligible families may be able to use insurance. If you choose the insurance route, you’ll complete an intake with Blooming Families and can request me as your doula—or choose another doula if they feel like a better fit. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident knowing you have someone who truly cares in your corner.

Hello, I’m Rebecca DeMartini Certified and trained through The Matrone (Diane Bartlett), Dona International, Spinning Babies, Cornerstone Doulas, Hearthstone Midwifery, Hands on hands in womb care, Lactation, Innate Postpartum, Doula Trainings International, CPR and Neo-Natal Resuscitation. Thinking midwifery was the next step I trained 2.5 years and gained valuable experience, knowledge and wisdom from the amazing midwives I had the honor of working with. Ultimately I decided it wasn’t my calling or my passion the way being a Doula is. I am passionately committed to all families on their journey through fertility, birth and postpartum and know birth intimately. Using my learned knowledge through education and the experience of the 700+ births I’ve had the honor of attending, I work closely with families to help promote body awareness, natural intuition, education and advocacy. I am dedicated to applying the knowledge I have to make your journey from conception to postpartum the best it can be!

I think everyone needs a doula, support during life transition is so important! I am a full spectrum doula supporting fertility, pregnancy (labor and delivery), abortion, loss and miscarriage and postpartum. I have been on both sides of the labor and delivery journey as a nurse, I see mothers choosing what is best for them and advocating for them, whether going fully natural to using medicinal means to deliver. I know that with teamwork, belief, trust, releasing all fears, and encompassing a peaceful space that birthing your beautiful bundle will come easy. Yes, there are the unknowns but with constant communication and reassurance our relationship will be unbreakable.
