About me

Hello, I’m Rebecca DeMartini Certified and trained through The Matrone (Diane Bartlett), Dona International, Spinning Babies, Cornerstone Doulas, Hearthstone Midwifery, Hands on hands in womb care, Lactation, Innate Postpartum, Doula Trainings International, CPR and Neo-Natal Resuscitation. Thinking midwifery was the next step I trained 2.5 years and gained valuable experience, knowledge and wisdom from the amazing midwives I had the honor of working with. Ultimately I decided it wasn’t my calling or my passion the way being a Doula is. I am passionately committed to all families on their journey through fertility, birth and postpartum and know birth intimately. Using my learned knowledge through education and the experience of the 700+ births I’ve had the honor of attending, I work closely with families to help promote body awareness, natural intuition, education and advocacy. I am dedicated to applying the knowledge I have to make your journey from conception to postpartum the best it can be!

Postpartum Care Meet and greet to establish compatibility 1 in-home consultation to learn about your needs, and become familiar with your home, fill out a postpartum plan and meet family members. Light housekeeping Baby’s laundry Meal prep (based on groceries available on site) Grocery or errand shopping (hourly fee) Newborn care and instruction Lactation support Birth processing Doula Care Initial meet and greet, to determine compatibility. Additional meetings welcomed Help in writing Early Labor Plan Help in writing Birth Plan Prenatal Visits Education and preparedness for each trimester and birth Unlimited texting Unlimited calls Continuous presence during labor and birth Massage and relaxation techniques Positioning suggestions Emotional support and reassurance Partner and family support Facilitation of communication between Family and clinical staff Photography during or after birth by me if desired Professional Photographer (separate charge and based on availability) Assistance in establishing first feeding Remain with you for at least 1-2 hours after birth, more if needed 1 Lactation consultation after birth or at home On call for families throughout the transition process 1-2 Postpartum visit/s Continuation of breastfeeding support as needed
