About me

I began this journey while working at the CDC, hoping that birthing room experience would inform my long-term goal of helping improve maternal health outcomes for all families. In return, my MPH and CDC background give me a solid understanding of health disparities and evidence-based care that shapes how I support my clients. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I trained and certified through the Hearts and Hands program at UC San Diego Health as a volunteer. I have had the privilege of supporting over 40 births, including unmedicated, medicated, and cesarean deliveries. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• If you are expecting and looking for emotional support, physical comfort, an informed advocate in the birthing room, or a calm and warm presence to help guide you through labor, I would be honored to be part of your birth team.

It was such a blessing to be able to work with Aubrey. She is such a charismatic and genuine person. I had my first baby back in April of this year. I don't think it would have turned out the way it did if it wasn't for her. I had little to no idea about the entire labor and birthing process. You can only research so much until you're in the thick of it! It all goes out the window once contractions start, so having that support and reminder to breath and move is a lifeline. She is your advocate when you're in the most vulnerable position of your life. I had a very successful vaginal delivery after being induced at 39 weeks. This angel showed up at the hospital at 3 am when I finally started progressing. Aubrey ensured all the nurses knew my preferences and tended to me and my finance's every need during my labor. She provided both of us with encouragement. I learned so much from her. She's a special doula who goes far beyond what I could ever imagine. I can't recommend her services enough.
